George Strait offers a "Houston Solution" on Ronnie Milsap's new "The Duets" album

ABC/Image Group LANative Texan George Strait teams up with Ronnie Milsap for a new version of the 1989 hit “Houston Solution,” on Ronnie’s new album, The Duets.

“I’d always loved the song,” Strait tells Entertainment Weekly of the top-five hit, which originally appeared on Ronnie’s Stranger Things Have Happened album.  “And to be asked to sing it with Milsap was a no-brainer for me.”

George goes on to say he’s “a huge fan” of his fellow Country Music Hall of Famer.

“I know he inspired me,” he adds, “from his great piano playing to his amazing range vocally that he uses so tastefully. He also knows how to pick great songs and is a great entertainer. He’s not in the Hall of Fame for nothing, folks.”

You can hear the new duet version of “Houston Solution” when Milsap’s The Duets album comes out on Friday. It also features collaborations with Luke BryanJason AldeanKacey MusgravesDolly Parton and more.
