Luke Bryan swears he won't "TV cheat" on wife Caroline by watching "Game of Thrones" without her

ABC/Image Group LAJust like the rest of the world, Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline are obsessed with Game of Thrones — but they have rules about how they enjoy the HBO fantasy drama.

“My wife and I — and I’m sure a lot of couples out there do — [we’ve made] it a weekly deal where you go watch it together,” he tells Entertainment Tonight.

Luke and Caroline do have a bit of a problem, though, because he’s tied up judging American Idol in Los Angeles at the same time GOT airs on HBO. Still, he’s vowed not to watch it until he’s back home in Nashville with his wife.

“Every week she’s like, ‘Don’t you TV cheat on me!'” he explains. “And I’m like, ‘I would never TV cheat [on you] with Game of Thrones!”

They’ll have the same problem next Sunday, as the season two finale of American Idol airs at the same time as the final episode of Game of Thrones.

Luke’s set to sing his latest hit, “Knockin’ Boots,” during the finale and perform with contestant Laci Kaye Booth on the show as well. You can tune in to find out who wins Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
