Russell Dickerson promises "a big old banger" will follow his latest #1, "Every Little Thing"

Triple TigersThis week, Russell Dickerson‘s celebrating his third number one in a row with “Every Little Thing.” But he’s not resting on his laurels — he’s already looking ahead to what’s next.

So what will his follow-up to 2017’s Yours be like?

“A big old banger, I promise!” Russell tells ABC Audio. “You know, I’ve been writing out on the road with all the people that I’ve written my singles with, written with Lady Antebellum, written with all these incredible songwriters. And I’m so pumped!”

“We’re working with a new producer AND the same one,” he adds. “So me and two other guys are producing this record. And, you know, I promise I’m gonna try to bring the heat!”

“Every Little Thing” follows Russell’s previous number ones, “Blue Tacoma” and “Yours,” the title track of his debut album.

So far, there’s no word on when a new single or Russell’s sophomore album will arrive.
